Iliac crest osteocutaneous flap reconstruction for ameloblastoma of the mandible in a patient with bilateral peronea artery magna
Success of oromandibular reconstructions is increasingly achieved
through fundamental microvascular techniques that incorporate
innovative adjunct modalities. We report a complex case of a large anterior mandibular plexiform ameloblastoma reconstructed with an iliac crest free flap
in a young woman with bilateral peronea arteria magna. This article
serves to highlight the application of several new technologies in an
effort to provide a functional and cosmetically acceptable result.
